If you don't know what it is, you don't have one 
I have 2 E-Mags that need X-Mod. I'd send them in, but LorneCash has stated on AO that he is ok with someone else putting X-Mod on there for you, as long as he gets his licensing fee, which I would definitely send him. I'd save tons of shipping that way, and wouldn't have to do without my Mags for however long it took! |

| Yeah I was hoping to do it (legally) without having to buy the programmer, and without having to send it in. That would involve finding someone locally who has the programmer (and is willing to let me use it), and me just paying the licensing fee directly. |

Ah I see, you'd have to buy the programmer directly from Lorne. Initially I figured you'd just be able to find the programmer online from a hardware site so I just spent the last 25 minutes looking around and wondering why I couldn't find anything  . |

| I have a programmer from my previous E-Mag which can be used for X-Mod . I havent played this season nor will I be out until the weather gets back into "form" . You can PM me and you can borrow it if you'd like . |

| I just picked up an x-mag as well. Can the programmer be used to change the boot up screen message? If so, I'd like to borrow someones as well. I'd be happy to pay any fee's as well. |

Yes, the programmer can change the boot up message, but you need LorneCash's (the original programmer) help to do it. You tell him what message you want, then he compiles it and e-mails you a file, and you load that onto your X-Mag. Sounds like we need an X-Mod flashing party? |

| I picked up a rasta x-mag from A-Tach-one on MCB. I'm poor until scenario, but so worth it. We'll have to talk about mag flashing at tombstone. |

I had my Tuna done up with X-Mod soft , as for the bootscreen you can change it to anything with 10 letters . I've seen a scrolling boot screen but I've tried several times with no success.
As for the welcome guys , thank you I've just been trying to get back into my education . It was also the off season , paintball and cold weather dont mix especially when your a crappy gun tech like me and can never get your marker to work in fridged temps . |
