The guy who runs this is Steve Myrick. He owned and operated the Paridigm Paintball in Aurora. The Bijou Creek Sports that he is working with in Byers, (Yes that is the correct spelling, not Buyers), is owned and operated by Landon Snider. Sorry, I DO NOT support Mr. Snider at all.

My knowledge of Steve comes from his store, Paridigm Paintball, which closed over a year ago. It was fun. A bit pricey for the experiance.
However, my experiance with Mr. Snider was through an attempt to get a local recreational feild started in Byers. Without going into details, it did not end well.

This event they are putting together sounds fun. I am not sure where this 80 acres is though. There was maybe 20-30 acres to play on. But, I haven't been out there since last summer.

Steve does have experiance with scenarios and seems to know what to do. The amentities that are being offered are from locals to help with their fund raising efforts.

I will be watching this to see how it goes.

Would you be interested in playing this one, Jim?

Looks like the field is .7 miles northish of I 70 at Byers, west of the Quint Valley Fairgrounds. Could be a good one, but I think I'll save my paintball bux for the Muppets in May. Something about flagrant misspellings in promotional materials that causes me to question whether a promoter will cover all the little details...port-a-pots, shooting hot, paint & air, etc.

jus' a tired ol' dude with a jones for the woods...and headshots.

Is that their own private field or something?

That sounds like the area Jim has been trying to setup for some paintball.

Remember, DON'T SHOOT THE TREES OR ROCKS IN THE PARKING AREA!!!!
(Or you will be made to suffer one thousand deaths, each one, more horrible, than the one before!!!)

Forest etiquette for dummies! - DO NOT BUILD BUNKERS IN NATIONAL FOREST!!! It is against the law.

Thank you for your consideration.
